Upset of the Week - #1

Raiders overcome 13 game losing streak to the Chargers

The Raiders were able to overcome the Chargers today without powerhouse runningback Darren Mcfadden, rising above a 13 game losing streak to the Bolts that goes back to 2003. The game was a high scoring one with both teams failing to adequately defend the other from the end zone. The Bolts offence was led by Rivers with a stunning +400 yrd game, assisted by the brilliant route running of Floyd who picked up just over 200 reveiving yards and a touchdown. The chargers looked like all money for winning, when they had driven down the field to be only 30 yrds out and 1pt behind, but beyond reason they went for passing play after another, resulting in a forced fumble from Branch on the quarterback ending in a Raiders Touchdown to rub in the dirt of a 0-2 interdivision record for the Chargers.
